Heaven
warned Marie-Julie Jahenny that among the chastisements that will
strike the earth as a punishment for sin and a warning will be a
multitude of diseases that human medicine will not be able to treat. Judging from Marie-Julie's various
prophecies, they will strike before or during the civil wars that
will occur before the dreaded Two and Three Days of Darkness. (To learn more about these Days of Darkness, the events before them, and how to specifically prepare for that according to Marie-Julie, click here. The info is too detailed to put on this page).
Here is a list of remedies revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny: they are a reminder that when modern medicine fails, we have God's natural pharmacy to turn to.
Also, our sacramentals are powerful healers when used with faith, as long as one does not neglect medical treatment first. The Church obliges us to listen and follow medical advice. These remedies will be for the time we won't have medical help, or the diseases are so new there will be no known cure or treatment.

1) Remedy
for the BURNING PLAGUE
One never before seen plague will be particularly deadly, a 'Burning
Plague' will spread fast and will kill quickly. TWO remedies will
be available, and must be taken as directed in time, or the victim
still may not survive. This is one chastisement Brittany will not
be spared for it will have forgotten its Faith.
If anyone
decides to take shelter in Brittany, be prepared for this plague.
It will spread so fast there will not be time to prepare for death according to another of Marie-Julie's prophecies. We will not have time to get a priest for the Last Rites, and indeed, if there are any priests left, they will be so busy, we may not get absolution. Heaven has prepared the CROSS OF PARDON in order to receive forgiveness of sin in this dire circumstance. (More about the Cross of Pardon, click here.)
However, if you notice the symptoms in time, here is the remedy you must take:

August 5, 1880)- THE WHITE HAWTHORN REMEDY and HOW TO PREPARE IT:
"There
will be serious diseases that human art (skill) cannot alleviate.
This malady will attack the heart first, then the mind, and at the
same time, the tongue. It will be horrible. The heat that will
accompany it will be a consuming fire, so strong that the affected
parts of the body will be of an unbearable
redness, (red blotches / patches).
After
seven days, this malady, like the seed sown in a field, will rise
rapidly and make immense progress (i.e. take over the body quickly,
or, spread through the population
quickly).
My
children, this is the only remedy that can save you:
You
know the leaves of thorns that grow in almost any hedges (white
hawthorn). The leaves of this thorn will stop the
progress of the disease. You must pick the leaves, not the wood.
Even dry, they will retain their effectiveness.
Put
them in boiling water and leave them there for 14 minutes, covering
the container so that the steam remains. When the malady first
attacks, you must use this remedy three times a day.
My
children, this disease will be very serious in Brittany. The thought
of God there will be less great
...(I.e. they will not
think of God as much as before and therefore will be struck hardest with
this malady.)
The
malady will produce a continual uprising of the heart, (blood
pressure? Increased heart rate?)
vomiting. If the remedy is taken too late, the affected parts will
become black, and in this black, there will be yellowish pale
streaks."
The FLOWERS may also be used, and, the tea may be reheated and used again as long as it is kept covered, and reheated while covered.

Marie-Julie Jahenny received other warnings with descriptions of this burning plague and when it will strikes.
Our Lord revealed unknown plagues will erupt first in Paris, then spread: (June 15, 1882) “There will pass, on France, countless deaths that the world has never seen and diseases that are unknown. Above all from the Centre (Paris) will this deadly mortality launch its plague. It will strike down just up over the parish which is yours, (Blain, Fraudais?) My children, but fear not, My Heart will be a shelter to protect you.”
Marie-Julie gave details about this disease at an earlier ecstasy dated September 20, 1880, also hinting it will break out during a time of persecution: “From the time when the rage of the impious will stop for a short respite, (i.e. when the persecutions seem to stop for a bit between the First and Second crises periods of the French civil war) there will come a great disease, almost suddenly. This chastisement will leave its victims as those without life, they will still breathe with the ability to speak, the flesh raw like after a deep burn. This malady will be very contagious and nothing will stop it. It is a punishment from God to bring many (souls) back.”

Observations:
is there any Biblical basis for this new plague that will come before
the justice of God strikes? YES.
Compare
the prophecies of Marie-Julie and the coming chastisements of civil
war, the Three Days of Darkness, etc. this passage from the
prophecies of Isaiah / Isaias (13:4-13):
“The
noise of a multitude in the mountains, as it were of many people, the
noise of the sound of kings, of nations gathered together:
the Lord of hosts hath given charge to the troops of war. To
them that come from a far country afar off, from the end of heaven:
the Lord and the instruments of his wrath, to destroy the whole land.
Howl ye, for the day of the Lord is near: it shall come as a
destruction from the Lord. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and
every heart
of man shall melt,
and shall be broken. Gripings
and pains shall take hold of them,
they shall be in pain as a woman in labour. (Cramps
from the plague?). Everyone shall be amazed at his neighbour, their
countenances
shall
be as faces burnt.
Behold, the day of the Lord shall come, a cruel day, and full of
indignation, and of wrath, and fury, to lay the land desolate, and to
destroy sinners therefore out of it. For
the stars of heaven, and their brightness shall not display their
light: the sun shall be darkened in his rising, and the moon shall
not shine with her light. (Two / Three Days of darkness?) And
I will visit the evils of the world, and against the wicked for their
iniquity: and I will make the pride of the infidels to cease, and
will bring down the arrogance of the mighty. A man shall be more
precious than gold, yea a man than the finest gold. For this I will
trouble the heaven: and the earth shall be moved out of her place,
for the indignation of the Lord of hosts, and for the day of his
fierce wrath.”
I
would recommend reading the ‘Douay-Rheims’ edition of the Bible,
the same prophecies told by the other prophets are cross-linked in
the footnotes below the appropriate verses. The passage above is also
linked to: Ezechiel (32:7), Joel (2:10, and 3:15), Matt. (24:29);
Mark (13:24), Luke (21:25). Also, compare the above text from Isaias
with the passage in Joel (2:6) “At their presence (a great army)
the
people shall be in grievous pains: all faces shall be made like
a kettle.”
I.e. they will look scorched and burned like a kettle which is placed
over a fire. This sounds very similar to the ‘burning plague’
Marie-Julie Jahenny was forewarned about.
About
the hawthorn remedy: this is for information only and to confirm
that Our Lady is giving us authentic remedies. I have
looked into the health properties of hawthorn leaves and have
discovered herbalist and alternative medicines site declare it is a
powerful form of natural digitalis, a heart medication. It also reduces blood pressure. So, please
be advised when using the leaves if you are already taking prescriptions for lowering blood pressure or have
heart issues -it can lower your pressure too much if you're already on medications. Be careful! Interesting, herbalists say that when making an herbal
tea as a beverage or health purposes, the herbs must be steep c. 14
minutes in a closed container such as a pot with a lid to ensure all
the essential oils are infused, and, not lost in the steam.
If
you plan to harvest your own flowers and leaves, here are pictures of the white
hawthorn and its leaves. If you are not sure what to look for, then
please, take someone with you who can identify the right bush.

UPDATE: IF YOU PLAN TO BUY FROM A HERBALIST-what kind do you need to get and how much do you need to buy?
People have recently asked my what species of hawthorn they need to get.
The "Friends of Marie-Julie Jahenny Association" have named a species, but it is obvious the Association has put that name out - Our Lady didn't give the scientific name. However, don't worry, the various white hawthorn species all have the basic same properties. Our Lady would not give us something we couldn't find - she said it was the bush that is common and grows in the hedges, so it's basically all your common varities of white hawthorn.
If you are not sure of what bush to pick from, then do buy from an herbalist. They sell the kind with all the health properties.
I've noticed that many online herb suppliers are only supplying a mixed version with leaves and flowers of the hawthorn - since you CAN use the flowers, it should not be a problem - Our Lady warned it was the wood we are not to use, i.e. not to use the bark, the thorns, the branches.
And, considering if we catch the Burning Plague, we're going to need to drink this stuff three times a day, so we're going to need more than just a few teabags! I recommend buying a bulk supply, at least have a couple of pounds on hand.

******) YOU CAN ALSO TRY GROWING YOUR OWN BUSH - they thrive in USA gardening zones 4-8. I've found some SEED OPTIONS on Amazon to try and start your own bush. Plus also note, while they are described as a 'fast grower', cultivating a bush from scratch make take awhile if you want to have a good supply of leaves.
*) If you live in gardening zone 9, and have trouble growing the common hawthorn, the Alabama Hawthorn may be an option for you - it grows in regions 7-9, and the tree is in the same family, the hawthorn / crataegus family. It certainly looks like the European varieties. (The various hawthorn species all over the world have been used in traditional medicine, and I've read that Native Americans from the south would use the hawthorn from their regions for their medicine, so this should be a good option.) Get Alabama Hawthorn seeds by "MySeeds Co.", comes in a variety of amounts, click here.
URGENT - One last note on the hawthorn:
There must be a reason the remedy says we need the flowers and / or
leaves of the hawthorn and to make a tea, perhaps we may need to vary
the strength of a dosage by trial and error, so DO NOT TRUST any
capsules or tablets that herbalists sell - Our Lady said get the
flowers, and / or leaves of the hawthorn and make a tea. THERE MUST BE A
REASON FOR IT.

The SECOND HERB we can use for this plague is GROUND IVY, St. John's Herb, (NOT St. John's wort, a bad English translation of the texts by the French site had given the wrong herb, it is the ground ivy we need.). The Ground Ivy is listed under remedy Number #4 below.

Remedy
#2 - EASY, and SIMPLE PREVENTATIVE PROTECTION Against PLAGUES
One
remedy to protect yourself from the deadly plagues,
(the “Friends of Marie-Julie” Website states this is the only
manner of protection when the "mortal plague" or Burning Plague strikes)- we are to swallow a very small piece of paper
on which the following words are written:
“ O Jesus, Vanquisher of death save us! O Crux Ave, spes unica!"
(IMPORTANT: This is for the
chastisements, don’t risk your life. We must still take the usual
precautions not to get sick should there be an epidemic, stay home
and avoid crowds.)
To answer your question: is doing this with ink going to be toxic?
The combination of dyes / pigments and
solvents that make up ink in a pen generally aren’t considered
poisonous, according to the US National Institutes of Health. Also,
you would have to swallow the contents of a half-dozen pens to make
yourself feel sick, and it isn’t likely to be fatal. Maybe
uncomfortable, but not deadly. So, if you cannot get ink poisoning
from chewing the end of your pen, writing this prayer on a tiny piece of
paper and ingesting it won't poison you either. It's the same with
pencil: despite the common belief, pencils have never contained lead.
All pencils are made of graphite, which is a soft form of carbon.
Carbon is a completely different element than lead. Graphite is
relatively nonpoisonous. The Illinois Poison Center also notes:
“Ingestion of graphite or other pencil material is not
expected to produce symptoms.” So, you would have to eat a
large amount to make you feel sick. Just don't abuse this
'paper-prayer' remedy, it is meant for chastisement emergencies, not
for daily use.
For anyone who thinks swallowing such a piece of paper is a 'superstitious' bit of 'non-sense': - I cannot see this as superstitious – St. Catherine Laboure received a divine inspiration to swallow a relic of St. Vincent de Paul, and she was graced with a vision of Our Lady and the revelation of the Miraculous Medal. Bl. Catherine of St. Augustine of Canada once helped a sick person by grinding up a first classic bone-relic and made the patient swallow it. When a baby St. Thomas Aquinas swallowed a piece of paper on which was written the words 'Ave Maria', which was a sign of his special predestination. Ven. Philomena of Santa-Columba, who was consecrated to Our Lady before she was born, did something similar when she swallowed an image of Our Lady as a baby. So, where does 'superstition' begin and end when holy people did things like this with relics, images, and holy words on paper?

#3 – For UNKNOWN DISEASES and relief during the 'Burning Plague'
Our
Lord told Marie-Julie: “A
medal with My Divine Heart, a medal where there is drawn the adorable
cross. You will place in a glass of water these TWO images, either
pasteboard (i.e a holy picture), or metal. You will drink this water twice blessed, twice
purified. One single drop in your food, one tiny drop, will suffice
not to move away the blight, but the blights of My Justice.”
He
also said: “You
will give a drop of this water to the poor souls reached by the
blights of the unknown maladies that will attack the mind heart and
the mouth / tongue.” (Ecstasy
date, not given.)
(IMPORTANT:
this will only bring relief and WILL NOT CURE the ‘burning
plague’, only the hawthorn and ground ivy will cure that if taken in time. Our Lord said two images are needed, so if you have a little picture of the Sacred Heart, and the Miraculous Medal as it has the cross on the back, this should work.)

I've just discovered that YES - according to Henri Boucier's texts on Marie-Julie Jahenny's prophecies, this is another remedy for the 'Burning Plague' not just the white hawthorn.
This must also be made into a tea, the herb steeped in boiling water for fifteen minutes with the lid covered. It must also be taken two to three times a day if the Burning Plague has been contracted.
ALSO: the ground ivy is to be used for Crises, Sufferings of the chest and violent headaches:
((NOTE - CORRECTION: I received the wrong translation from the 'Breton Stigmatist' who mixed up the English translations of the herbs revealed to Marie-Julie, '
"Lierre terrestre" is mentioned in the texts, it is 'ground ivy' and also known as Glechoma hederacea. The texts mention this herb an that it should be taken for the chest sufferings, so it is obvious ground ivy is meant here.
It is also known as gill-over-the-ground, creeping charlie, alehoof, tunhoof, catsfoot, field balm, and run-away-robin.
But in French it is also associated with St. John, AND, it was listed next to St. John's wort, which is also in the texts, hence the confusion.
'Ground Ivy'
not mentioned in the English translation of "We Are Warned: The
Prophecies of Marie-Julie Jahenny" due to this mistake. I apologise for
that! It should be 'ground ivy' and NOT St. John' wort.
Lierre terrestre / 'ground ivy' / Glechoma hederacea is the herb for 'crises, sufferings of the chest and violent headaches. During the Renaissance, it was used to treat various chest ailments.
We are to prepare this exactly the same way as the hawthorn tea.

substantiates its use for centuries as a medicinal remedy for

sorrows.”
(Note: this
appears to be a different remedy and NOT be confused with the remedy
for Unknown Diseases listed above. A medal of the Sacred Heart is specified here. There are many different designs, but apparently, it has to be one featuring Our Lord and His Sacred Heart. We must pray to the Sacred Heart for relief as we take this remedy.)

Lord: “To dispel all fears and all fright, you must touch to your
forehead an image or the sweet medal of Immaculate Mary. (i.e. the

will remain calm. Your minds will not fear the approach of the terror
of men. They will not resist the effects of My great Justice.”

The evil 'Red' governments will try to destroy the faith and purity of children in the evil days that come, the destruction of the innocence and purity of children will reach an unprecedented level in the world, particularly when the Church is forced underground before the Three Days of Darkness comes.
Our Lady said wearing this medal will protect the faith and purity of children, and we can be sure, also us.
Revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny (August 16, 1880).
“My children,” repeated the Holy Virgin, “With all the goodness of my heart and will all my tenderness I tell again to the father and mothers and families that it would be very good, and at the same time it would be a great grace, to have children wear, small and big (i.e. children or young adults), wear a medal, (...) big or large, as they like. This medal should bear these words:
“Oh you, Holy Virgin, who has crushed the head of the serpent, guard our Faith and the innocence of our little children.”
The Holy Virgin wore the medal on her heart, it was round and white. "It is not necessary," she said, "for it to be expensive," (i.e., of valuable metal like gold or silver), "its efficacy will be the same."
Our Lady: "This will be to guard innocence, in the difficult times, when the pestilence of corruption will spread everywhere. Every Christian can take it to arm themselves, as a defense and as a weapon of Faith that will conquer sinful living and the treachery of evil."

Divine Heart:
“Say

/ Observations: the context of this prayer is not included, however,
it seems that when we are in need of the Sacred Heart's assistance
during the troubled times, to pray both the Latin part of the prayer
and the rest three times, asking for assistance from Our Lord and Our
Lady.
'Salve
nos perimus, domine' means 'Save us Lord, for we are perishing', a
quotation from the Gospel passage when the storm broke out on the Sea
of Galilee and the Apostles were afraid the boat would sink:
“And
behold a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was covered
with waves, but he was asleep. And they came to him, and awaked him,
saying: Lord, save us, we perish. And Jesus saith to
them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he
commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm. (Matt.
8: 24-26)
Also,
“And he was in the
hinder part of the ship, sleeping upon a pillow; and they awoke him,
and said to him: Master, doth it not concern thee that we perish?”
(Mark 4: 38)
Yes, it does concern Him –
however, we must not be of little faith when the storms of life are grave,
we must pray for assistance.

REMEDY 14: PROTECTION against the coming warning of a WHEAT PLAGUE and the PLAGUE ON ANIMALS - a devastating warning plague will strike the spring sown wheat in 'southern' lands south in France, or even further south, (and this 'may' be worldwide if it is a plague'. The wheat will turn black and not produce. Animals will also be struck at this time in the North. The animals will suffer as follows: the
skin around their eyes will blacken on the outside to a width of a
finger and a half, and they will refuse all food. There will come
plenty of water from their eyes.
REMEDIES of PROTECTION: 1) a procession with St. Benedict's statue needs to be made, without fear or doubt - true faith is needed. 2) Blessed St. Benedict's exorcism medals must be sown into the fields in the shape of a cross. 3) Animals must have a blessed St. Benedict's exorcism medal placed around their necks. (See Post # 155, click here). These medals need to have the special St. Benedict's exorcism blessing. The animals suffering from this 'black' plague may also be given the herbal teas of the white hawthorn and the ground ivy: (see post #117, click here)

Remedy 15: FAITH, DEVOTION AND TRUST in OUR LADY:
Our Lady told Marie-Julie Jahenny that the greater our devotion and the more we trust in her to protect us, the greater our protection will be during the Three Days of Darkness. In addition to saying the Rosary and practising the Five First Saturday devotions, and wearing the Brown Scapular, here is a beautiful prayer to protect the family home. Notice, this prayer was NOT revealed to Marie-Julie Jahenny, but still very much in keeping with her promised graces of protection:
“O Blessed Virgin Mary, Who
was conceived without original sin, and who was proclaimed the Help
of Christians, we choose you as the Mother and protectress of our
home for today and always.
And we request that you protect us by your powerful intercession. Preserve this home from the plague, the fire, the waters, the lightning, the hurricanes, the earthquakes, the thieves, the impious, the bombings, the wars, and whatever calamities you know of.
Bless,
protect, defend, and keep as your very own those who inhabit and
shall live in this home, preserve them from all tragedies and
accidents, and grant to them the very important grace of avoiding
sin. Mary Help of Christians, pray for all those who live in this
home, which is entrusted to you for all time. Oh Mary conceived
without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.”

the wars in France.)

16) REMEDY for TYPHUS Fever - Nettle tea
NOTE: this remedy was given by Our Lady to a DIFFERENT mystic from Portugal named Severino
Alves (1906-1985) during the apparitions of "Our Lady Queen of Peace". (Click here for more information on this apparitions, which occurred in 1917 just a few days before those at Fatima.
