One day in January 1885 Marie-Julie Jahenny asked Our Lord how one could show their love for Him, and He revealed a simple devotion to fulfil this: stay with Him one minute before a crucifix saying the following prayer that would please Him:
Marie-Julie Jahenny: “Beloved, what shall we do to show our love?”
Our Lord - “O beloved soul, one minute at the foot of the crucifix! Give Me three sighs as follows:
* My Beloved, I love you,
* My loving Father, I want to keep you company,
* My heavenly Bridegroom, I desire Heaven to see you and love you.
These are the three demands of the Heart of a Father to our poor souls.
