# 224: Messages of Our Lord regarding Brittany imparted by St. Raphael – The Coming Civil Wars in France and a Description of the Evil Leaders

SOURCE NOTE; Source for this text: the newsletter “WORLD TRENDS – 49b 1977 (?)”, by Yves Dupont. Dupont cites as his source the various books of Marie-Julie's texts compiled by Fr. Roberdel.

No date given was given in his newsletter for this text, so I have placed it in the 'Missing dates' section of this blog, however, there is some familiar material here, so it is possible I already found part of this on the 'Association / Friends of Marie Julie Site', but they didn't include all of the vision while Yyves Dupont did, but forget to add the date! Therefore, some of this text is not in the book “We Are Warned” as I've just discovered Yves Dupont's rendition after it was published.

Messages of Our Lord through St. Raphael, the Archangel:

"Brittany! You have been faithful to Me . . . You were not afraid to say 'I am Christian; I shall adhere to my faith even to the last drop of my blood if need be!' "

"Brittany! You have been marked with three secrets which I gave to My Immaculate Mother; be ready to receive them. You will rise like a powerful army as soon as the unclean feet of the impious come to desecrate your faith. You will be strong enough to protect your boundaries." (Note: this is a reference to the coming civil war and invasion of France as the text later refers to the coming of the Great Catholic Monarch destined to liberate France from these future punishments).

"Brittany! It is you whom I have chosen. You are, so to speak, predestined. You alone will uphold the faith. You will support yourself unaided. You will be, as it were, protected by an iron grating; no one will be able to cross over your boundaries."

"Brittany! It is you who will show bravery when the appeal from the King will be heard. (I.e. the promised Great Catholic Monarch). You will march like a victorious army to meet him whom I have miraculously given to save her who is perishing from shame". (i.e. France).

"Brittany! The alliance which I have made with you is still unknown. Soon, I shall reveal it. I am the Voice of Truth and Life."

"Before the King who is chosen and destined by God may return, all those who are currently (in power) must be wiped out."

(NOTE: i.e. this is a reference to earlier revelations that the democratic government set up since the time of the French Revolution is going to be wiped out to make room for the restoration of the Catholic absolute monarchy.)

(Apparently Marie-Julie speaks next:) "I contemplate the heart of France which is held in the middle by red fetters."

"I see unknown and hideous men rushing forward with fury, full of a terrible revenge."

"For a long time, they exclaim, 'We were subjected to France. They want to crown her with lilies, but we will give her a red ribbon as a diadem.'.

(NOTE: the evil ones ruling France or who will rule France are referring to the old days of the monarchy that they were 'subjected to', and are angry there is a call to bring back the 'crown of lilies', that is, the Catholic monarchical government represented by the lilies. The evil men want to give France the 'red ribbon' for a crown.  Red is the symbol of both socialist and democratic rebellion.  Prisoners sent to the guillotine during the revolution sometimes had a red ribbon placed around their necks, and there was once a branch of Freemasonry that featured a red cord as its symbol.)

At this moment, the Blessed Virgin arises and shows the Crown of Lilies to these furious people:

"Here,” she says, “is the Crown which has been reserved for France. He who will possess it will not appear in France, (the land of) his cradle, when the terrible fighting starts, but half-way through these momentous events. A Voice from Heaven shall summon the saviour of France. He will go through these terrible weapons unscathed, and he will be crowned even before the end of the fighting." (I.e. this is in reference to the Great Catholic Monarch to come.).

"As soon as we have shot down the one who is "reigning", the furious people say, "as soon as we are victorious, we shall turn against our own brethren who have not kept the faith.”

(NOTE: this seem to be a reference to the civil war, they will reign once a 'leader' is brought down, then the evil ones will turning against their own, possibly against those who didn't remain faithful to their false ideals, possibly another 'Reign of Terror' like what happened during the French Revolution.  Basically, this happens during civil wars, those who rise to power then get toppled again by the very people who used to support them etc. Civil wars bring massive instability to a country as everyone makes a grab for power.)

The First Appeal of France to Heaven: "Why should I have fallen into these barbarous hands? Who can possibly help me out of my plight if Heaven does not come to my assistance?"

(REMARKS / Paraphrasing by Yves Dupont regarding the evil leaders at this time: (…) Marie-Julie goes on to describe a tall, thin man, with grey hair and large eyes with a ferocious look in them. He was a member of the previous government, and is now in sole charge. He wants to wipe out religion.)

But France has now come back to God and she answers this man: "I respect God; I respect His Temple; I respect all French Christians."

(REMARK by Yves Dupont: There are now two contending factions in France.)

France says: "Yes, I did join this secret society (i.e. Freemasonry), and I cannot free myself. But there are still some faithful Christians who extend to me their helping hands in this trial of mine. I do not want to lose those good ones: I now abjure with all my heart and in the presence of God and the Blessed Virgin, and I renounce this fatal Society (i.e. Freemasonry) which has dragged me into the abyss.

(REMARKS / Paraphrasing by Yves Dupont): Marie-Julie now relates how France, with great difficulty, gets to her feet again in spite of the "tall, thin man". But another man comes up and the "red fetters" grow even redder. This man is short, but sturdily built. His hair recedes back from his forehead, but his hair is not grey like that of the "tall, thin man". He has a pointed beard and a ruddy complexion. His eyes are so large that they seem to pop out. He looks ferocious. He speaks to France and tells her how he will uproot all religion. Then, looking towards the (direction of) the place where the sun shines at 10 a.m. (i.e. Rome), he says:

(The second evil man): "Why! You who wait for help from the French in your prison, you are greatly mistaken if you think to recover your possessions." (i.e. the Pope will be imprisoned in Rome at this time, or made a 'prisoner of the Vatican' as what happened during the 19^th century. History will repeat itself.)

(The evil man continues:) "Oh! If I could only enter this city with my followers, (i.e. Rome); I would promptly close the eyes of the one who is the Head of this religion; (i.e. kill him), I would trample him underfoot, and we would all dance as at a great feast."

(OBSERVATIONS / RECAP: In all, this is a vision of the future civil war and invasion of France just before the Great Monarch rises up to save the country and bring in the Age of Peace.  Italy will also be going through terrible turmoil and the pope will be made a prisoner of the Vatican. Brittany will be the only region in France to defend the true faith and resist the evil ones in power.  Brittany will answer the call of the King when he appears, but, the King will not come until about half of the war and terrors have passed.

A few of the various factions and leaders that will rise and fall in France during this time are indicated. Once a 'leader' of the government is toppled, the furious ones wish to impose Red Socialism founded on Masonic ideals. Then, they will 'turn on their own' who didn't remain true to their revolution, so this is when a new 'reign of terror' might commence, just like during the French Revolution.  This is when they could also start the genocide that was foretold.  Religious will be forced to go on the run, Christians will be slaughtered.

We see mentioned a man who will be a member of a government in France that will be toppled, he will rise to power after the coup d'etat and become the sole leader, i.e. a dictator. Apparently this is the time when the evil ones want to gave France the red ribbon diadem. He is described as a tall, thin man, with grey hair and large eyes with a ferocious look in them. He wants to wipe out religion.

France wakes up, and attempts to rise and return to its Catholic heritage, perhaps an indication of some resistance rising against this evil government, but then, a worse man rises and assumes power, and binds France in worse red fetters.   This man is short, but sturdily built.  His hair recedes back from his forehead, but his hair is not grey like that of the first "tall, thin man".   This new diabolical leader will have a pointed beard and a ruddy complexion. His eyes will be bulging and seem to pop out. He will look ferocious, and he too will aim to wipe out all religion, and this time, this leader turns his eyes on Rome.   His hatred for Catholicism will be so great he would kill the pope if possible.

In all, we know from past prophecies that there will be three crisis periods during the war. It is difficult to know which phase Marie-Julie is referring to, but apparently, before the Great Monarch enters the scene as we see the turmoil these leaders cause before he comes.

#202 Places in France that will be Relatively Protected or Shielded during the Coming Civil War / Invasions / Chastisements

 

A collection of undated text fragments from the 'Friends of Marie-Julie Association' Website listing the various places in France that will be protected or shielded in various degrees during the genocidal anti-religious Civil War and the ensuing Invasion, that will happen in France, both as part of the chastisements and the warning signs. Some places will be safer than others.

Undated text fragments:

"Brittany will be protected by the Virgin Mary, but depending on the extent of the Faith."

"Our Lord made her (Our Lady) the guardian of our Brittany and she obtained from her Son a large protection (i.e., as in considerable protection) at all times, but the Lord continues to pursue those who have placed aside the Faith, to follow the movements of the present time. Five times, Brittany will be crossed and recrossed by those who bear all the disorder ... In the north of Brittany, there will be a little more to suffer. There evil will be proportionate: there remains an edge where everyone has permission to walk on his land. Saint Ann will protect the region of Auray, there will be punishment for the rebels, but the righteous have the destination of being protected. The region of Mont Saint Michel will be relatively protected."

(OBSERVATIONS: while Brittany will be the safest place in France, it will not be spared all sufferings—five times the civil war rioters /rebels will be allowed to go through it to cause a disturbance, no doubt as a form of punishment to the Bretons who have slid in their faith and followed the lax ways of the times. As the prophecies foretell, it is on the strength of the region's faith that will given it protection. The north of Brittany will suffer even a little more. However, the lands near the famous shrine of St. Anne of Auray will be the most protected during that time and the rebels will at last suffer punishment there—this seems to suggest once the rebels have crossed over and crossed back through Brittany five times, they will at last meet resistance at St. Anne of Auray's shrine, or thereabouts. The region of the famous shrine of Mont St. Michel on the very edge of Brittany to the north will be relatively protected during this time as well.)

"The Vendée will be protected, except on the borders, to the south. But a number of Vendeans will shed their blood because they have kept their faith."

(OBSERVATIONS: in an earlier prophecy given to Marie-Julie, the Vendeé region to the south of Brittany will receive protection as well as they shed their blood in defence of the King and the Faith during the French Revolution. Vendeé will again be protected, except at its the southern border where it appears an invasion will be attempted. Vendeans will once again shed their blood in defence of the Faith.)

"Nantes will have less to suffer. The diocese will be comparatively secure, but no grace for the ungodly and wretched families! Other woes will go from Nantes to the south. Pontchâteau will be spared because of Father de Montfort. La Fraudais, the garden of Mary will be protected."

(NOTE: While Nantes will be secure, it is obvious protection will only be granted to those who practise the Faith. The area of Pontchâteau will be spared thanks to the graces obtained through St. Louis-Marie de Monfort and the famous Calvary shrine he had built there. It was destroyed on a few occasions, but was rebuilt and a famous place of pilgrimage. Marie-Julie Jahenny's little hamlet of La Fraudais near Blain will be protected)

Texts regarding other areas-- Lourdes, Toulouse, Mende, Rodez:

"The setting sun (west), from the chapel of Lourdes up to the North will be spared, save for Bordeaux (epidemics).”

"Toulouse will be spared because of St. Germaine de Pibrac, but it is not out of the woods. Mende and Rodez will be spared."

"Saint Martin of Tours will protect especially those who pray." (i.e Tours will experience protection if people pray.)

Our Lady: "At Lourdes, there will be a protection for the righteous, but I will punish the ungrateful people who give the animals water to drink from the spring that I have brought forth. There, the people will be very unhappy. They will suffer, because I appeared in this place. The animals of profaners will lose their lives."

(NOTE: The righteous will be protected at Lourdes, but Lourdes will still be profaned by unbelievers, the locals will be made to suffer there because it is a holy Marian apparition shrine and profaners will come to mock. The profaners will take their animals to be be watered at the miraculous spring, but the animals will die.)

"There are bad people everywhere, and God knows the depths of every heart." (i.e no country will be completely free of tribulations).

(Ecstasy Date ?) - More on Brittany as the best place in France to find shelter:

Our Lady to Marie-Julie: “France, you are divided. If my children ask me where they will have shelter, I would say make your asylum in Brittany.”

Marie-Julie: “But it will not be large enough to shelter us all!”

Our Lady: “I will make a tent and my mantle will be the covering.”

(Marie-Julie?): Ah make it (so) all the friends of God will come here and that we are all together.

"We also,” say the impious, “will come and take shelter in Brittany.” (Note: this seems to say the evil ones will hear about the prophecies and try to shelter in Brittany as well, but they will expect protection without really converting or changing their lives. But, as we see in the text above, there will be no grace for the impious families.)

“There will it be,” replied the Lord, “that My people will have this protection, and Brittany will be chosen as a kingdom especially dear. Its name is dear to France and outside." (i.e. Brittany is dear not only to France, but also to other countries.)

"Yes, my children,” said the Virgin Mary, “I have come to make a refuge in this land of Brittany, because here I find generous hearts. It will be a very strong shelter for the birds that flee the storm and take refuge there."

#147 Visitation of St. Anne – Prophecy of the Jesuits - Religious Shall be Ordered Out of France – The Great Monarch will Visit St. Anne's Shrine – Brittany Shall Suffer but Be Protected – The Guillotine Will Return – Weak Bishops will Cause the Damnation of Souls

 

Ecstasy date July 25, 1882

Marie-Julie Jahenny: “I honour the glorious mother, St. Anne, accompanied by the Blessed Virgin.

Saint Anne said: "Every year, my children, I come from heaven to bring you my word, on the eve of my feast, at a time when they come to my feet to ask for favours. When I see, every year, the pilgrims come and kneel at my feet, (i.e. At the shrine of St. Anne at d'Aurayin Brittany, see post # 11 for more info), from the bottom of my mother's heart, I say to them these words in silence:

I also, I prepare for Brittany my last blessings. The calvary of sorrows which, outside of Brittany, awaits France, it will not happen for years before it is raised up... Already, there is little time, the religious that inhabit this land, the sons of St. Ignatius (i.e. the Jesuits)... My pain is immense at the sight of the beginnings of sorrows that will not stop. (Prophecy of the resurgence of persecution against the Jesuits in France?)

My children, these men, who lead the eldest daughter of the Church (France) to the abyss, will have to dip their pen in the ink of hell to a make a summons.

(Marie-Julie) : I do not know what it is.

St. Anne: “My servants know that word ... a summons of all, against those who sought refuge in non-religious homes, offered by the charity of good people. (i.e. The persuction will rise via a state-engenerred anti-relgious perseuction – bishops will be forced to make an offical summons for relgious to give themselves up, also those who sought refuge in people's homes). My children, each of the pastors of the dioceses of France (the bishops) will be much obliged to answer, as he can and in his thoughts, good or bad. Woe to those who are not on the side from where the glory and the salvation which will come forth!

It is they who will be forced to pass these addresses to all the religious of France. Very shortly after these envoys, the masters of the times will raise their powerful voice, and pronounce that all religious are to embark on vessels, (boats, to get) out of France. (I.e. Once they have come forth, the religious will be ordered to leave the country.) Nothing is going to bring them back to sentiments of pity for pastors and the religious.

My children, I believe I can tell you that the Bishops of France will be called to testify, and through the laws of today. (i.e. The bishops will be forced to do this through evil laws passed.) Never, never will they undo all the demands and the laws that the governors of France will impose on them. (i,e they will not be able to fight all the laws passed.) Religion will crumble in France.

My children, they do not know what to do in their hypocritical and dirty reign: they will go after the head of the Church, (i.e the pope) and the rest will follow easily. The little people will be forced to submit to laws that are more and more odious and profane, but not all. The good and brave people, who will not submit to government orders, they will have much to suffer, grace from Heaven has designated their step and their way, they will win.

My children, Brittany loses her faith, and the evil in the kingdom has reached unto her. I count a considerable number who will not refuse to submit willingly. (I.e despite Brittany submitting to point, there will be a considerable number there who will resist.) If, everywhere, the Lord, before the march to the abyss, will make to germinate souls for the final salvation of His people, (i.e God will raise up holy or strong people to stand against the evil of the times) this land I inhabit, this land will not be the last to give the beautiful stem that encloses the grains the word of salvation and hope; the one that is of the side desired by the children of religion.

My children, just here I have been consoled by the number of the children of France that I have seen at my feet. (i.e. At her shrine) I await the King before the altar where I stand. I will listen to his prayers and I will pour out the graces of my heart. (i.e the Great Monarch will visit the shrine of St. Anne in Brittany.)

I will bless the time when the superhuman forces will march at the head of the faithful supporters.  All will need a superhuman aid.

Thousands of offenders will have devastated the Center (Paris) and its inhabitants. They will not even by stopped by the Justice of Heaven, at the blow of the coming of this faithful servant (the Great Monarch). This is where the Lord will make His own rejoice, and confuse those who ever had the ambition to conquer the seat of the kingdom, and to enthrone their friends there.

From heaven, I will keep Brittany. I have promised, but it is destined to suffer many ills. I repeat that it will open for the passage of the barbarians who will cross between five and nine miles from here, to go merge on the north side. There, they will have prepared the instruments that cut off the heads of Christians, those instruments of old that they remember when, over this place, they performed this painful execution, in this crisis that marched over its centenary. (i.e. prophecy of the return of the guillotine.)

My children, it is over Rennes. On this side, there are good people, but also very bad, and the hand of the Lord will not manifest itself over these places at the last minute.

If the world knew the approach of the hour of God, they would prepare; they would feed on the faith that is the weapon of combat. My children, there is nothing more (left) but prayer.

My children, what weakness resides in the apostolic men! The times, which affects a very unhappy determination for them, will show the little faith of these apostles. They will be the cause of damnation of a multitude of souls who will be lost by the examples of their guilty weakness.

My children, the times that come will not be any (more) happy than those of today when all works are under overwhelming persecution.

Woe to the times that come, when the Lord will no longer be enclosed in Heaven, but visibly appear on the premises of the earth, with glory, to reward those who have suffered. Courage, a little more, and heaven will reward for all the evils.

The Lord's servants will not be spared. There must be suffering to alleviate eternal evils and merit the salvation of France. (i.e. God will need the sacrificial sufferings of the just to pour out His grace.)

I shall stop and I promise my assistance to all the children of the Lord of whom I am also a mother."

Note: These are various prophecies recorded from March to May 1881.  They were published in the fragments you see here on the “Friends of Marie-Julie” Website. If there were more revelations in the ecstasies for these days, they have not been published yet as far as I am aware.

Ecstasy Date March 24, 1881

“Our Lord made her (Our Lady) the guardian of our Brittany and she obtained from her Son (to write it) on the page of a book hidden under His divine robe. His Mercy would be willing to be touched, but so few souls pray, so many outrage Him."

(Observation: the promises that Brittany will be protected by Our Lady is written on a book hidden under the Divine robe of her Son.  Apparently, it seems the chastisements might be mitigated if mankind turned to His Divine Mercy, but many will not. Ecstasy of May 12, 1881, (and November 29, 1881), (“The Breton Stigmatist” p. 56)

The Great Monarch is called by Our Lord and Our Lady "The Man of God", "The Chosen of the Eternal", "The Prince and salvation of his people".

(Observations: the promised Great Monarch must be a very great man indeed to have earned such high compliments from Heaven! The mystic priest Père Lamy who had many visitations from Our Lady and the angels once remarked that Heaven or even Our Lady rarely compliments mankind, for what can Heaven find to compliment in poor fallen humanity? However, he once heard Our Lady say about a saint, “He is a great saint”, and Pere Lamy was taken aback, declaring she never speaks a compliment unless it is highly deserved! Same day, May 12, 1881,

(Our Lord ?):

"My children, punishment was promised to the city of Nineveh, and now a severe punishment, a terrible punishment is promised to the new Nineveh that I loved so much and that which is My kingdom."

(Observations: this could be Rome as it is the city where the Vatican is situated and would also come under great punishment as we have seen in the previous prophecies, however, it could also be Paris.  Marie-Julie Jahenny foretold the city would be destroyed, and barely a handful will be saved. Other mystics have foretold it will never be rebuilt.

Of interest, at this time Paris was truly the great new Nineveh of Europe having just undergone the massive reconstruction and modernisation project started by Emperor Napoléon III and directed by his prefect of the Seine, Georges-Eugène Haussmann, between 1853 and 1870. Old Paris disappeared as medieval neighbourhoods were demolished and reconstructed, making way for the now famous wide avenues, new parks and squares, the annexation of the suburbs surrounding Paris, and the construction of new sewers.  What we now know as the classic architecture of central Paris was all due to this massive civil refurbishment project. However, the glistening new city also became the libertine capital of Europe with every vice catered to and a double-lifestyle was quietly accepted as normal. For instance, it was an 'understood thing' that one part of the week men would take their mistresses to the opera, while the rest of the week they took their wives. There were also certain cafés where men would only take their mistresses, but not their wives.  This is only one instance of the depravity occuring and will continue to occur.  Hence it it quite possible Heaven was calling Paris the New Nineveh.  The city will be destroyed and never rebuilt.)

Ecstasy Date May 18, 1881

"At that time, England will have betrayed its people under the empire (or influence) of a queen; on her descent from the throne, things will not happen as the Lord demands (or requires)."

(I.e. When the chastisements come, England will have been betrayed by a queen's influence. Will it be a Queen of England, or another queen? Of interest, the prophecy says this queen will 'descend the throne' – possibly a prediction of abdication? 

Also,  the prophecies of Marie-Julie Jahenny describe even democratically elected leaders as seated on 'thrones', perhaps on account of them usurping power that truly belongs to a monarch.  Hence, there could be a female leader that will betray the English people.)

#104 St. Vitalis of Milan – Prophecy of Contraception, Chastisements Will Follow – Submission to the Cross and the Will of God Thwarts the Enemy

Note: St. Vitalis was a victim of persecution in the 1st century in Milan with his wife, St. Valeria, mother of St. Gervase and St. Protase. He is described as a wealthy citizen of Milan, who was put to death in Ravenna. It was St. Ambrose, who in 393, ordered that a search be made for the relics of the martyrs of previous centuries, and it was by this that their relics were discovered. The Basilica of Ravenna was named after St. Vitalis.

Ecstasy date December 17, (1878?)

“I am Saint Vitalis. I was martyred with my wife Saint Valeria. I suffered death for God and the Holy Church for not wanting to deny my God Who made me a Christian ... I was seized, bound and then stoned to death with lead balls. Our bodies were pierced through and through. Then they forced very sharp awls through all parts of the body. Then we were again sifted and stoned. Then we were buried alive in pits filled with lime and earth. This is where our souls took their flight. My wife and I were not separated. We were chained and buried in the same pits. We rested long after burial in this great city watered by the blood of martyrs.

Now, a word on behalf of Our Lord.

Dear brothers and sisters, arm yourself with invincible courage to face the evils that threaten you. The Lord sends His soft Divine light and that will serve you to foresee and will make you feel the hour when pain will fill the earth with a cry of alarm and sobs. This day of pain is in full strength ... What attracts this pain? This cry of alarm? They are sins, crimes, scandals, abominations ... This is the bouquet of the earth.

I do not speak of you, Brittany, but to you, land of France, which was once a noble name, you who had such a great reputation. Today, you are trampled underfoot by your corrupters and your friends. Your bowels are hardened mercilessly for your children ... Previously, this land was covered with the blood of martyrs. It was fruitful with a seed of grace. Today, I see from Heaven, the Justice of the Lord in anger against the land of France. I see its lightnings close to falling heavy (upon you). A single fibre holds them and still stops them ... There only Heaven can make this miracle of victory in this desecrated land …

(Note: “Your bowels are hardened mercilessly for your children.” This could be a prophecy concerning contraception that was introduced in France in 1967, and throughout the rest of the world. The name 'contraceptive' is misleading in many cases as certain ones do not prevent conception from taking place. Many are actually contragestives, they prevent a fertilised egg, human life, from implanting in the womb, and in a sense, 'hardens' it. The new baby is unable to develop and starves to death. Some cause the uterine lining to shed after implantation, which would make it chemical abortion. The infamous 'Morning After Pill' is a contragestive, certain IUD devises are also contragestive.)

St. Vitalis: They do not tremble, the men that rule the earth, but God is the Governor of Heaven and earth. Persevere in prayer and the Lord's anger will not reach those whom he has promised to protect … Remember that we are all crucified on earth. It is suffering that raises us in triumph, and triumph leads to eternal happiness.

Meanwhile the protection of peace, let us rest in silence on the Cross of our Lord, say to Him with submission and resignation: "Lord, here we are, do with us as You please!" This word can defy and reverse the designs of your enemies … You are on earth where you merit to win the so precious treasures that Heaven (sends for) rewards. Continue your way and at the end you will receive the crown of victors!”

#88 St. Primus - Prophecy of a BLOODTHIRSY CENTURY of Diabolical Inventions

St. Primus gives a dire prophecy of a bloodthirsty century with diabolical inventions that once again foretells Pope Leo XIII's vision of 'Satan's Century'.

Ecstasy of October 23, 1878

“I am Saint Primus, martyred with St. Félicien. I was martyred by the hand of the famous emperors who made so many martyrs. I was martyred for refusing to associate with those miserable and impious idolaters, and for refusing to not believe in Jesus Christ. Saint Felician was martyred in a different way. He was beheaded. First, I was seized and I was introduced to the book on which weak Christians committed their souls to Hell by signing and renouncing Jesus Christ and Heaven. As soon as the servants of the furious Emperor presented me the pen and the book, I said aloud: "No, I will not renounce my God, I will never condemn his Church. I do not want to lose my soul."

Then all the Christians who had apostatized rushed upon me with rage and vengeance. They pierced my veins, especially those of my heart and chest, and with my blood they wrote on the book of Satan. But it was not by my hand or by my will, I was innocent. Then the Emperor ordered me to drink the blood of their idolatries, otherwise I would be pierced by the sword. I objected and said that I did not want to stain my soul with the blood of demons. The Emperor had me pierced anew with arrows.

(Note: My translation could be incorrect but he continues on to say:) I was the first (martyr) to be pierced with arrows. I was also the first to be put to death by the double-edged sword that spilled so much Christian blood.

The Emperor then had my body removed saying it was a plague and a foul stench because he did not like Christian blood. ... I was dragged out of sight of the emperor and was thrown into a deep pit where I (remained) for several days. But Christians who knew the place, they removed me and gave me burial.

Now a word on behalf of Our Lord.

Our adorable Lord has Himself prepared a large number of martyrs on earth by suffering and pains of all kinds. These (souls) are very advanced. They have made great progress in the Holy Will of God. Under the emperors, the land was thirsty for the blood of Christians. Today men are thirsty, Lucifer is thirsty, the earth is thirsty and souls are hungry for flesh and blood! The earth has been so well watered with the blood of martyrs in every age!

Dear Brothers of the Cross, look at this epoch as a remarkable century, when the earth drinks, and the pavements, streets and fields, the blood of the true Christian and also the blood of the bad Christian. Their blood will mix, but their odour is distinctive. The name of Jesus Christ will be written in the blood of true Christians while the rage of men and devils cry fiercely in the blood of the wicked and in that of the perverted and soiled Christian.

Dear brothers, in pain, there will be in this century, many emperors provided with instruments of new invention. Every day, there will be held a diabolical council about these inventions of deadly weapons. But do not fear these barbaric instruments for the power of God can paralyse these corrupt members. Here is what (is being) prepared (by) the agents of the most famous emperors. Here are their designs and their wishes:

They are preparing to say (or declare) aloud to have an end of the "rebels", to unite them all together and make them march in battalions to their temples, 'where they like to say,' they add, 'that their God resides'. They want to achieve the martyrdom of Christians as much as possible in the temple of God and around these walls built with the stone of the Divine Power that has stood every epoch and that will stand still in this century, despite the cruel barbarity.”

We will interrupt the text with an observation / interpretation: St. Primus mentions 'in this century' and 'look at this epoch as a terrible century' when 'new inventions' will come about – not only could this be an indication of the years 1878 to 1978 judging from the date of the ecstasy, but could also refer to 'Satan's Century' that would soon be foretold by Pope Leo XIII, a vision that had not happened yet when this ecstasy took place. We must also remember Bl Catherine Emmrich's prophecy that Satan would be let loose about 50 to 60 years before the year 2,000 AD, but that he would prepare for that event 'a time and a time' before then according to her. Notice the age of machines suddenly expanded on a vast scale even before the 50 to 60 years, the early 1900s would see the invention of the airplane and the advancement in weaponry that would be used during WW I and would be further developed during WW2, especially the atomic bomb.

St. Primus warns Marie-Julie Jahenny a time of genocide is coming, when evil leaders will plot in secret using the pretext of stopping rebellion to round up Christians, (Catholics), and march them into churches where they will be martyred, in the places where the Blessed Sacrament resides. These evil agents will mock our belief in the Blessed Sacrament. The“walls built with stone of divine power” referred to must represent the Pope and the clergy, i.e., the unity of the Catholic faith which has weathered every persecution and will never fail. This could be a double-prediction of what eventually happened when Socialism / Communism spread throughout the world and churches were closed and desecrated, from Portugal, Russia, to Spain, to Mexico, etc. under the pretext of granting 'Freedom' to the people. Christians and religious were rounded up and slaughtered. It will happen again as Marie-Julie received warnings of the brutality that will devastate Paris before the return of the Great Monarch. Already, we can see the Leftist agenda of labelling Christians and conservatives as 'intolerant' and 'fascists': is it possible that if any protest is made against these unjust accusations it will be portrayed as social rebellion as a pretext to persecute Christians? This in addition to the prophecy that Marie-Julie also received that "France would become Muslim and deny the divinity of Christ" - indicating militant Islam may also become another agent used to persecute the faithful.

St. Primus: “This is a project, but God judges differently! Indeed, among those who believe they make so many victims, many have succumbed at the moment of the beautiful finish.” (I may have translated that last sentence incorrectly: apparently, the saint says that many who set out to make victims become converts in the end when they see the grace-filled death of many martyrs.)

St. Primus: “Dear Brothers of the Cross, the inventions of hell will begin. They have already begun. But if they come to you, keep your faith and your steadfastness. May your eyes, accustomed to looking at Heaven and heavenly things will not bear these horrible visible inventions that you will also be presented with to (make you) bend under oath. But this course is not much (or a cause) to fear, because they are dispersed supporters (or henchmen). It will be easy to see the end because your lands will remain closed. They will not be open to the looting of the awful pillage of sacrilegious disorder. (I.e. a reiteration that Brittany will be protected.)

If I speak too loudly and too much is because it is necessary to prevent and to warn of all the preparations and secret commitments that plot and that go enter into a force for freedom. (i.e., using the cause of Liberty as a pretext?) To revive your courage, brothers of the Cross do not leave your Crucifix which is a precious and divine book where one draws sublime words of to sustain your courage and to safeguard your Faith. Our Lord made powerful barriers to the gates of His garden of protection. Brittany is where the Lord plants high barriers. The profanation and sacrilegious murder will not pass. Right now, you are all working men and women. You work in the land of the Lord, either in suffering, or carrying your cross, or undergoing the insults and persecution. You are all working men and women employed by the One who controls everything, and who runs it all. You plough your souls and your hearts also. Our Lord gives you abundant graces and abundant blessings to be deposited in the field of your immortal souls. This crop grows in God's eyes. No matter if in the eyes of men it appears withered and dry.

Dear brothers, courage throughout this land of bitterness that is still a flower but soon will no longer be fulfilled and no longer then any emblem or flower or tree. It will be reduced and reversed, by the Justice of God, which men have attracted (upon them) by their crimes and disorder, it will be very hard and very painful for them. They will say: "It is my fault!"

Carry your cross. The climb is difficult. But once on top, you have nothing to fear. Here the blessed rewards await you and a fruitful harvest because you have suffered.”

Notes: Saint Primus was martyred with his brother St. Felician c. 297 AD. According to tradition, they were beheaded on the Via Nomentana under the Emperor Diocletian. They were both Roman citizens. Feast Day June 9.

#84 St. Michael – the “Pillar of Mud” Prophecy – Terror must befall France – the Return of the King

(Note about these particular visions of St. Michael: the texts for this date (September 29, 1878) have been separated, it is difficult to tell if they are all part of the same vision, or various visions at different parts of the day. Please note, owing to the difficulty of establishing a correct time line, they may not be in the correct order.)

Text One:

St. Michael grabbed his sword and showed the crowd the Sacred Heart. A terrible cry rises. Men and demons seem mixed: we can no longer distinguish the voices of Christians from that of hell.

Marie-Julie: “Saint Michael, what frightening screams!”

The archangel approaches from the left with the fluttering banner of the Sacred Heart. The cries are redoubled:

The screams: “There is the one who promised to close over us the doors of the abyss!”

They are murmuring and spit in the face of the Archangel. He then turns to the right:

“I speak,” he says, “listen to my voice. Death is on your heads. The fatal blow is ready. Look at the Sacred Heart that will be your refuge.”

The right side, (of the crowd) which is as bad as the left, responds:

“Better to be enveloped in the Justice of Christ than to recognize His Heart!”

(Observations: Does this refer to all the times when the various governments of France rejected Christ's request through mystics such as St. Margaret Mary to have an image of His Sacred Heart placed on the royal standard?)

“The hour of God is not far,” says St. Michael, “this profound terror will (bring about) the triumph of the new France. But this triumph cannot come before (if) Justice is not (pressed down) on this rotten land.

Do not expect anything of him who reigns as king and who, today, sits in the same chair as the others – a chair that bears no mark of a special power or much grander. His mind is in accordance with the thoughts of others, his word to their word, his will to their will. His power and authority are not more than he who is the last. Do not expect anything from this side: he does not deserve any more respect than all the rest.

In the storm, his voice will cry as loud as the others, against all that God has established. There is no strength in him; they lead him, they have directed him. This is the portrait of this man; he is a pillar of mud. Grieve about it, but do not give it much thought.”

Marie-Julie: “I will not think about it, good Saint Michael.”

St. Michael: “To reinstate the King chosen and destined by God, it is necessary that all those who are present be swept away.”

Observations on this first text:

 

It is interesting to note that the voices on the right in the vision who prefer Christ's Justice,which seem to represent conservatives, show that they are just as bad as those on the left. Besides salvation and damnation, only in politics do we hear of a “left” and “right” side, terms that first started in France when conservatives and liberals seperated into different sides of the National Assembly.   People will be “conservatives” in name only during this time foretold by St. Michael?

Many speculate this prophecy of a 'pillar of mud' refers to none other than President Nicolas Sarkosy.

Sarkosy's father was from the Hungarian aristocracy, his paternal ancestors were ennobled by Ferdinand II of Hapsbourg in 1608. Of interest, “Sar” and “Kos” in Hungarian mean “dirt” and “mud” respectively. ‘Sar’ can also mean ‘mire’, while ‘sark’ means ‘pole’! 

 President Sarkozy was raised Catholic, and it might be tempting to think he could be the one to bring back a Catholic monarchy, or some type of moral government, but considering President Sarkozy was married a third time, completely against Catholic teaching, we can see the similarities in the prophecy, if it indeed refers to him.

St. Michael warns he is a “pillar of mud” that rules like a king, i.e. a “pillar” of society, but not pure. As they saying goes, a man of clay.  He is no better than the “others”, his voice will be 'their' voice indicating he will be a puppet for the evil ones that will try and undo all God has established, and that his chair is not high and noble like that of a king's throne, obviously referring to his leadership as President in a liberal, secular democracy. In fact, the French do not view their presidents simply as elected officials, they are viewed and treated as an elected 'king', but obviously, St. Michael is pointing out their error in thinking this!

However, St. Michael says we, as Catholics, cannot expect anything from him, and must wait for God to restore France to its former Catholic glory under its rightful monarchy.

Text Two of St. Michael's revelations (September 29, 1878):

“Poor France, look at my flaming sword. It is a double iron, it is sharpened on all four sides. Do you not tremble to undergo such an operation by these sharp blades, this flaming sword? But France is muted. She is become (as one) deaf to the plaintive words addressed to her. She has no more (than) one understanding, (i.e. one mind), that of evil, sin and revenge, because day and night they blow over her their abominations and the belief that she will be saved by the power of these unfortunate treacherous murderers, of those who have tortured, torn, lost. It is they who bear that frightening horn (i.e. a cornocopia?) that contains everything most hellish of Satan.

No, I say it openly, if God had not promised to save France, all these people would be grieving, but the promise of God is to strengthen you and reassure you. You have no fright to fear because you are promised God's help. This region, your regions, will be protected, separated from France in danger of perishing. (i.e., Brittany and the Vendée will be spared.)

Yes, God will save France, but not without justice, or without rigour, it is promised. France will be saved sooner than the majority think - this great party (or majority), it is men who do not trust in God and do not hope in God. France endured in the past few years a burning thirst, but God in His loving mercy has sent suffering on Earth so that, thereby, He is compensated. France still suffers yet this thirst, but it will be refreshed in the blood of its friends and in the blood of its enemies; that is to say that innocent blood will be shed for the cause and for another cause higher again, and the blood of the wicked will also be provided to meet the wrath and vengeance of God.

The hand of God no longer is sustained. So, the Father Almighty has presented the Hand of His son to the Earth because of the crimes, the iniquities piled like mountains one on top of each other. The hand of God weighs down slowly and gently to a certain degree which was recorded by the friends of God in (the) revelations, but when this point is passed, and the Lord's hand touches, He will strike rigorously. God will wait the time He has marked. There, it will not be a long time, everything will be done without the French people (who will) acknowledge God and will return to better dispositions. It will be a terrible epoch that the Earth has never seen (before); no eye, nor any alive, or dead, have seen what is reserved in this next time; no punishment, no anger will ever be seen as the one reserved to be seen by the children of God living in this era of offences and attacks. That punishment will be seen by the eyes of the children of God (but) who will not suffer the terrible revenge; it will be seen by those who must endure it but seen by them shortly, (or for a short time). Their eyes will see a pain that they wished they were closed, never to reopen. (I.e. they will envy the dead.) Oh! if the wicked knew well to penetrate the Justice of the Inexorable Judge, they would shudder, they would gémiraient (groan?) from fear and terror.

You who will see, do not be troubled, for you are destined to see what those who lived centuries before you have never seen. Remember the promise of your merciful Redeemer. I say to you strongly and lovingly to hope in the mercy of God.

The hour of God is not far and this profound terror must be to (bring about) the triumph of poor France. For it cannot triumph, it is impossible, (that is), this triumph cannot come before the Justice of God is weighed down on this spoiled land, corrupted, infected with all sorts of crimes.

I want to tell you this secret: expect nothing, absolutely nothing of men. To restore the King chosen and destined by God,” says St. Michael the Archangel, “it is necessary that those who are in (this present) moment are swept away because the worthy King, this man of God, can not sit in place of the hypocrite king who after many years (of rule?) will no longer stench up the land, at least from above .* (See note below.) The poison is resting on the throne, it must be purified because there is another St. Louis who will sit on the fragrant lily.

The Holy Archangel says:

“The corpses of the enemies of the king will be trampled under the feet of those who will accompany him to the throne where he must reign, restoring peace to bloom everywhere again, however, there will remain enemies standing when the king will take possession because he must come in during the course of the storm. But he will be brought safe and sound because the Mother of God will protect him as her own son and has reserved for him to inherit a merited crown that will delight him. The days of exile will be long and cost dearly to the faithful and Catholic King, but he will be more richly rewarded. Let men affirm and say he will never return. Listen to them and ask them if they are prophets.

Children of the Cross, when the reign of this King arrives, France will be much weakened and depopulated, but God will reward France by many wonders after having been sifted and made to suffer. Peace will reign everywhere. After these terrible misfortunes reserved for France, all other powers will also have their punishments because it is the renewal of the entire universe. There will be (all) and everywhere, in corners of the Earth inhabited by my other children, chastisements and punishments of God because then peace will reign everywhere. (i.e., the great peace cannot come unless the earth is purified by chastisements and suffering.) There are powers, (i.e. countries, governments, officials ?) that I cannot name, who will suffer for years because this terrible disorder of threats and abominations, all this is nothing but punishment from God that sins attract.”

Marie-Julie: “The Holy Archangel then shows me the banner of the Sacred Heart that I have always seen.”

Saint Michael: “This is how we march on the borders of France, bearing the banner and the sword. I hold under my feet all the enemies of God and all (that is of) Freemasonry. I will exterminate them and the Justice of God will complete (it) and will crush them under the weight of His anger. Meanwhile, marching to France and on the borders of France, we will accomplish our duty.

When it is completed, when the kingdom of God will commence and peace restored, we will march on Rome for France must devote itself to the defence of the Holy See. The new Holy Pontiff is much more exposed, more threatened than the one I received. (i.e., the Holy pontiff will be more threatened and persecuted than his predecessor.) By attacking his holy Temple, they strongly make an attempt on the life of the Pontiff. If he is not a martyr by the hands of barbarians, it is that God will make (by) him a shining miracle that has no name. This spite also comes from your France. Never (before) was the storm so strong, so powerful against other pontiffs as that against him. He is already a martyr before undergoing martyrdom. He suffers before the time has appeared, but he offers his body and the blood of his veins for all his tormentors and those who make strong attempts, terrible (plots) on his life. What exiles (he has) to suffer, as that which martyrs endure.

Pray hard, with tears implore the mercy of God. It is (high) time, and even time passes. Cry, moan in pain on so many friends who will fall by the blade of the sword, (by) mine, and (by those) of the warriors driven by rage.”

Observations / Notes: (*) Who is this “hypocrite king” that “stenches up the land”? The Sanctuary / Friend of Marie-Julie Website says this revelation of a 'hypocrite king', refers to Napoleon III, but Napoleon the Third was already defeated, the Paris Commune had happened and the Third Republic installed by the time Marie-Julie had this vision.

The 'hypocrite king' could be President Patrice de Mac-Mahon, who was in office from May 24, 1873 to January 30, 1879. He was the only monarchist of the Third Republic, and apparently supported the restoration of the monarchy, forwarding the Count of Chambord as the new king. Chambord was the younger son of Charles X. Charles X was the younger brother to Kings Louis the XVI and XVIII, therefore the Count of Chambord was the last of the legitimate claimants to the throne under the Bourbon dynasty. President Mac-Mahon was also of aristocratic blood, a Marquis, and he was later created Duke of Magenta by Napoleon III.

However, if St. Michael's words were referring to President Mac-Mahon, it appears President Mac-Mahon's attempts to restore the legitimate monarchy the previous year were not genuine, or not pleasing to God. In 1873, MacMahon and other royalists planned to present the Count of Chambord to the National Assembly and have him proclaimed king, but as a constitutional monarch.  However, the Count refused, saying he would never forsake the White Flag of the absolute monarchy with the fluer-de-lys for the Tricolour of the revolutionaries, and rejected any plan to rule under a Republican organized monarchy. A crisis ensued the following years as all plans to restore the monarchy failed after this, entrenching the Republicans and sealing the defeat of the royalists.

We also note that while Mac-Mahon tried to suppress Republicanism in France in support of a royalist restoration, he put an Orleanist in office as Prime Minister, the Duc du Broglie, (i.e., a supporter of the Orleans claim to the throne), and according to Marie-Julie's visions, an Orleanist would never hold the throne as that family turned traitor and supported the Revolutionary cause against King Louis XVI, occasioning his murder. So, it appears the President was not willing to cut ties with the Masonic branches who wanted to control any restoration of the monarchy under their democratic systems. In any case, St. Michael stressed no human endeavour will be able to restore the French monarchy, and warned we are not to place false hopes in any human attempt, rather, we must wait for God to work the miracles He promised to sweep away the secularised governments imposed on France since the Masonic Revolution. God promises another great and holy king like St. King Louis, a descendent of the “King and Queen Martyrs” as Marie-Julie told the Marquis de le Franquerie. Above we learn the King he will be a saintly man, and in matters of government will not be infected by Masonic principles and will restore the Ancient Regime by God's power.  In fact, he has already been named: Henry V, the Count of Chambord whom the Republicans rejected.  In other texts we learn Our Lord promises to RETURN HIM TO HIS SUBJECTS, (click here for more info).
